Dog behaviour
We provide a kind and caring approach to working with your dog. We do not advocate punishment or force of any kind. Whilst working with rescued dogs all over the country we have seen exactly how this can be detremental to an animals behaviour and well being.
We promote teaching your dog what not to do and rewarding more suitable behaviour. Some dogs may be extremely fearful in the home or whilst out on walks and may react aggressively, we aim to tackle the root cause of these problems and help these animals feel more secure.
We believe dogs learn through their experiences and are not motivated by dominance or pack leadership. Many of the methods used by TV dog trainers actually use fear to submit a dog into behaving accordingly. We promote and use kind techniques using a reward based approach to teach your dog appropriate behaviour. Using fear to control an animal can and does create more problems for the animal than it could ever solve.
Using our approach we are here to help and support owners through difficult times.
